FictionJunction CLUB 「silent moon」

A netizen friend from a Sound Horizon forum was able to get a copy of 「sing a song」single from a FJC Club member. Fortunately, he gave me a digital copy of the single.

I decided to add a follow-up post due to high number of hits in the FictionJunction CLUB 「sing a song」Released!!! post.

So here's the song 「silent moon」
You can download it HERE

「silent moon」is the very first a cappella song composed by Yuki Kajiura; or so I think it is the first released commercially [well almost commercially since the CD was only available to FJC memebers]. The main vocalist for the song is YUUKA. It's been a long time since her last collaboration with Yuki Kajiura; the latest song before 「silent moon」was the b-side song「Hitomi no Chikara」from FictionJunction's first single 「Parallel Hearts」.

Like the first song, 「sing a song」, 「silent moon」features a very rich combinations and harmonization of the six utahimes: KAORI, KEIKO, WAKANA, YURIKO KAIDA, HIKARU, and YUUKA. Well, maybe even richer to the fact that their harmonies were only the support for the melody and they certainly did well at that; Yuki kajiura did well! I hope she creates more songs like this one. I also hope for more YUUKA songs in the future.
